Stronger "March for Life" in Rome -- The Hush About it Begins in the Church

(Rome) This year's March for Life took place in Rome on Saturday. Tens of thousands of participants once again put a strong appearance for the right to life of unborn children. Since the March for Life in Italy has evolved into a major event within a few years, the mainstream media have moved to a new strategy. Since it is not possible to make fun of the March for Life because of lack of success, it is silenced - because it is too successful.
Daily newspapers and television, which, when politically appropriate, report about rallies from a handful of people, conceal the Seventh March for Life with thousands of participants. They have concealed it in advance, so that as few citizens as possible can know about it and come up with the idea to take part in it, and they conceal it afterwards. Success and failure are also driven by this. At least an attempted influence is also to be seen in it.

March for life Media Out, march for immigration media In

While the March for Life is largely ignored in the reporting, a simultaneous March for the Immigration in Milan found the greatest media attention. In Milan - no matter what the media acrobatics - hardly any more people took part than the march in Rome. The difference? The march for boundless immigration, organized by numerous leftist groups and some left-catholic associations, obviously fits better into someone's mind. This is not an ideological antithesis, one would like to make believe that the proponents of life are against the advocates of the immigration. It is to understand that life itself is always holy and unconditionally holy,
Thus, too, Catholicism is by no means is Catholic. The director of the Italian National Broadcasting Service frequents certain Catholic circles who were involved in the pro-immigration march in Milan, but could not be seen in the pro-life march in Rome. Correspondingly, the reporting failed. The millions of children murdered since the legalization of abortion are considered taboo in these circles.
When the march is concealed for life, this has nothing to do with the media (and those who have influence on the media). It starts in the Church itself. Behind the scenes, the legalization of euthanasia appears to be a matter of fact. Since then, the Church has been silent, as has been the case for years on the subject of abortion. If she has to talk about it, then it does not receive too much notice in the public. Above all, she does not go out into the streets for the unborn children: one should not exaggerate  "the love of life", for the question is decided that the Zeitgeist is the same, the fight against it an overwrought thing of past times. Certain faithful and traditional Catholics remain, who do not want to accept the modern taboos.

Pope and bishops remain silent on abortion in Western Europe

As in the German-speaking world, the Church is also silent on abortion in Italy. This silence, of course, contains the necessary minimum, here and there a fleeting clue to signal that the Church still thinks as she always thought. Is this true? Is she really doing that yet? Doubts are appropriate. A real concern is that neither Pope Francis nor most West European bishops are concerned about the law of life. The homoeopathic dosage with which they employ themselves is lacking any initiative spirit, which is expressed elsewhere. It seems to be more a matter of appeasing those Catholics who have preserved an idea of the holiness of life. If these have occasionally dared to criticize, they may be referred to by this and that only casually.

Cardinal Caffarra: "With abortion and homosexuality, Satan challenges God"

In the run-up to the March for Life, the Rome Life Forum took place last Friday. Cardinal Carlo Caffarra said that "Satan challenges God with abortion and homosexuality". The history of mankind is a constant clash between these two forces. The final victory has already been decided, but up to that point, each man should decide, on the basis of his free will, in this struggle for one side or the other.
Today the consciousness has evaporated, "abortion is an obvious sign of the anti-creation," so says Cardinal Caffarra. The diabolic rebellion against God, which manifests itself in abortion and homosexuality, is a "sign of the apocalyptic times" that we experience, according to the Cardinal. We are not to talk about it at all. One must only have to accept and remain silent.
Riccardo Cascioli, the chief editor of Nuova Bussola Quotidiana , wrote in connection with the March for Life :
"It is no coincidence that there are voices about the establishment of a Vatican Commission even for the review of Humane Vitae. In the case of the two episcopal synods over the family, more than one bishop has raised such a demand. It is no coincidence that at the head of the Pontifical Academy for Life, Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia was put in charge, a bishop who immediately set about destroying the work of John Paul II. Even the embassies of the Italian Episcopal Conference on the Day of Life avoid talking about abortion, although the day was introduced as a direct response to the abortion legalization of 1978."

Cardinal Burke and Auxiliary Bishop Athanasius Schneider

Among the participants of the March, Cardinal Raymond Burke and Auxiliary Bishop Athanasius Schneider were again present this year. Pope Francis sent a greeting message, which can be seen as progress, in view of the coldness with which it has encountered in the past several years of the right to life initiative. At first the March for Life took place on Sunday and was led to St. Peter's Square to participate in the Regina Coeli with the Pope. Francis greeted various groups, but not the March for Life. In the meantime, a decoupling of the two events took place. Obviously the Vatican entertains a meticulous distinction between a brief papal greeting from the State Secretariat and a personal greeting from the Pope in Saint Peter's Square,
Despite the opposition of the abortion lobby, the March for Life quickly became the most important date for the Life movement and the most visible event for the unborn children in Italy. Delegations came to Rome from 20 countries on Saturday to emphasize the international importance of the commitment to the right to life.

Coda Nunziante: "A nation that does not promote life is a nation that dies"

This year the march was under the motto "Uncompromising for Life". The President of the Organizing Committee, Virginia Coda Nunziante, said in her speech:
"This place, so abundantly occupied, wants to reveal the beauty of life, but, with a firm determination from our politicians, to demand that our rulers stop financing our suicide with our taxes. Instead of killing our children, we ask for concrete help for the families so that they can raise their children. We are convinced that the economy would also recover. A nation that does not promote life is a nation that dies. And that is the demographic prediction that our country is making true."
She also referred to the 100th anniversary of Fatima Apparitions.
"Fatima is the most extraordinary event of our era. The Mother of God has come and asked us not to offend God any longer. In the hundred years since, however, the situation has deteriorated decisively, because almost all states have laws against life, against the family, and against the nature of man."
Coda Nunziante quoted from a letter that Sr. Lucia dos Santos had written to Cardinal Caffarra in the 1980s. In this letter, the visionary of Fatima said that the final battle between God and the devil will be on the subject of life and family. Coda Nunziante cited it for the March for the Life.
"We face this challenge in the certainty that with the help of God, life will always win over death."

Has Pope Francis Established a "Secret Commission" for the Revision of "Humanae Vitae"

Does Pope Francis intend to erect a secret commission to dismantle Paul VI's Encyclical?
(Rome) According to leaks from the Vatican, Pope Francis intends (or has already implemented) to appoint a secret commission with the mission to examine possible changes in the position of the Church on artificial contraceptives. This was reported by the Vaticanist Marco Tosatti last week.
The demand was linked to the current pontificate by progressive Church representatives. Pope Francis so far made ambivalent signals on Humanae vitae .

Revision of Humanae vitae ?

Concretely, the issue was to examine the Encyclical Humanae vitae by Pope Paul VI. with a possible revision. The former Archbishop of Milan had reacted with the encyclical on the anti-baby pill, the sexual revolution and the killing of unborn children by abortion. He did it in the middle of the 68-Revolt, which had just broken loose. On July 25, 1968, he published the encyclical Humanae vitae, with a "prophetic message," as Pope John Paul II says in 1981 in the post-synodal letter Familiaris consortio. Pope Francis also spoke of "prophetic geniality" in an interview of March 5, 2014 with the Corriere della Sera. Contradictory signals from the current Pope, however, do not allow an exact classification of his attitude to ( Karnickel , Zika virus and what Paul VI never said). Although he praised the "geniality" of the encyclical on the one hand, he found praise for the German moral theologian Bernhard Häring, one of the sharp critics of Humanae vitae .

Primate of Perusing Sees "Holes" in Bishops' Conference Statement

(Lima) Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne,  Archbishop  of Lima and Primate of Peru, criticized a statement of the Peruvian Episcopal Conference (CEP) on the death penalty. Part of the Peruvian episcopate supports the abortion and gay campaign of the right-wing liberal party Peruanos Por el Kambio (PPK).

The candidate of the PPK, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (the party symbol corresponds to the first letter of his name), was behind Keiko Fujimori with 29 percent of the vote  in the first round of the presidential election. Fujimori is the daughter of former President Alberto Fujimori (1990-2000), who is in the lead with 39 percent.

Cardinal Cipriani lamented the "gaps" in the press release, which have omitted part of Catholic social and moral teaching. "In our time, when there are thousands and thousands of abortion deaths", it should not be that the bishops speak about the death penalty, which has already been abolished in Peru, but do not mention the killing of unborn children, "because abortion is a guaranteed death penalty for unborn child, who is executed in our country. "

Since 2014, the killing of an unborn child in Peru is legal when the mother's health is at risk. The so-called therapeutic abortion contradicts the right to life and Catholic doctrine.

The document of the Episcopal Conference states that the death penalty is inadmissible. Given Pope Francis is quoted as saying the fact that "often totalitarian regimes and groups of fanatics" promote the death penalty and execute.

Cardinal Cipriani fully disagrees. The reality shows that the "death penalty of abortion" is as much a problem of democratic states.

It is an open secret that the Cardinal who doesn't  count on Opus Dei in the Peruvian episcopate as his only friends. The recent statement of the Peruvian Episcopal Conference is an indication that a majority is now setting the tone.

Since it is not the bishops' conference, but each bishop, who is responsible for his diocese, the Cardinal made a  public statement in order to distance himself from the "incomplete" explanation.

Masonleaks -- Leak of Documents from the Grand Lodge of France

(Paris) The news is startling, and yet the mass media hardly takes notice of it. The data leak was concerned this time not with the US State Department (Wikileaks) and not the Vatican (Vatileaks), but Freemasonry. There is talk of a Masonleaks. The analysis of thousands of secret documents of the lodge will likely take months to complete.
The Grand Lodge of France filed a complaint with the prosecution in Paris against  unknown persons. Hackers cracked the server of the Grand Lodge and were able to gain access to membership lists and internal documents. Several thousand confidential documents of the lodges have already been published on the Internet. The  data leak was made public by the weekly magazine L'Express .
The file containing the confidential boxes of papers was published for first time last April 10 on the website Stop Mensonges published. The site wrote:
"Revelations about the secret government, which determines the new world order."
It is a data volume of six gigabytes of secret documents. It's about decades of secret rituals, directories, projects, programs, statements,  internal publications, membership applications, thousands of detailed CVs of neophytes who applied for initiation or of which they were granted. We have also found hundreds of criminal records, of which it is suspected  not only that they are adepts, but may serve  information gathering or the exertion of pressure. In addition, copies of identity documents, internal correspondence and those with other Grand Lodges around the world. The daily Le Monde was allowed to inspect the data.

Stop Mensonges - to protect the parties there is no information on the origin of the papers

The mechanics that led to the data leakage is currently unknown. The server of the Grand Lodge announced on April 4, a penetration on April 2 of its Lodge-cloud . Some of the hacked documents are dated April 2016. It's a document that the operation is very recent.
The operator of the website Stop Mensonges has lived in a villa in Las Vegas for years. His only explanation was previously that in order "to protect the people involved," he could not explain how he got to the documents. He refused an interview by the magazine Society  for fear of reprisals.
In the Grand Lodge of France there seems be a mole, a lodge brother who stole the documents. Publicly, the Grand Lodge does not want to comment on the incident. It seems that it is the Internet pirates failed to gain possession of the complete list of the 34,000 members of the Grand Lodge. The names of many lodge brothers seem, however,  to  appear in the cracked documents.

OCLCTIC commenced investigations

As soon as the complaint was filed, the OCLCTIC leapt into action. Behind the unpronounceable acronym is concealed the Office central de lutte contre la criminalité liée aux technologies de l'information et de la communication, founded in 2000, a special branch of the police, which specializes in cybercrime.
The Grand Lodge of France is just one of eight Masonic obediences that are currently active in France. However, it is the second largest behind the Grand Orient of France . According to media reports there had been, after the discovery of data leakage,  hectic contacts between the Grand Lodge and the Interior Ministry and between the Grand Lodge and the other obediences. They apparently fear similar attacks and have increased security mechanisms.
Just how sensational of data leaks and  the explosiveness of all the published secret documents can not yet be estimated. These documents must first be reviewed and analyzed. It's a work that, may take years if not months to complete. "There is probably some explosive information that includes previously unknown contacts and connections with far-reaching political, economic and socio-political consequences at national and international levels. We do not yet know where to start the search," said an employee of Médias Press .

Grand Master of the Grand Orient drew from Simone Veil  - "Abortion is a cornerstone of our society"

Despite the attack, the aproned brothers have, however, not been deterred from their current socio-political causes: abortion and gender ideology.
The Grand Orient of France gave, last April 8, just four days after becoming aware of the data leaks by the "brother"-obedience,  the Marianne de Jacques France award to the 88 year old Simone Veil. It stresses the importance that the Grand Orient attaches to the practice of abortion.  Under Simone Veil's administration as the Minister of Health, the French abortion law, the 1975 Loi Veil was decided. Grandmaster Daniel Keller personally bestowed, in the presence of Senate President Gerard Larcher,  an honor to the coveted figure represented by her two sons, Jean and Pierre-François Veil who received this on her behalf. The figure will "bear witness to the solidarity and the recognition of the Grand Orient by Simone Veil, our sister from the heart".
Keller went straight to the point. He praised Veil's "republican activism," her  "struggle for the emancipation of women," which was a "child of secularism". While  secularism is "the linchpin of the Masonic use".
He also praised the abortion law as "a symbol of the improvement of man and society, in the Masonic work".
Keller added: "This law is a pillar of our society."
"That every day in France, hundreds of children are killed in their mothers' wombs, thus is the pillar of society, because it is wanted by the Masonic sect", says the press agency Médias Press Info .

More than 100,000 Ukrainians Sign Position to Ban Abortion

Additionally, the signatories of the petition for passing a law defining marriage as a union between man and woman make strong.

Kiev (kath.net/KNA) More than 100,000 Ukrainian Catholics call for a ban of abortion in a petition to President Petro Poroshenko.

As the press service Ukrainian RISU (Friday) reported they propose a constitutional amendment to protect the life of every human being "from conception to natural death." Additionally, the signatories are also for passing a law defining marriage as a union between man and woman.

The signatures were collected by Greek Catholic and Roman Catholic lay initiatives. In Ukraine about 150,000 abortions are registered annually. Abortions are still legal there until the 12th week without restriction and unpunished up to the 28th week for social and other reasons. Catholic (C) 2016 KNA news agency GmbH. All rights reserved.

Pope Downgrades the Church's Message on Bioethics

Edit: this came in the e-mail with the observation from a reader that the pope is outrageous to say this.  I'm sure we've all heard this sort of thing from the elderly Call to Action lady, the Sinsenawa Dominican who serves as an escort at an abortuary or a fly by night Nouvelle Theologian.  Surely, the Church has a privileged voice in this field and to suggest otherwise is monstrous. What of the unborn, the handicapped, the elderly and most fragile members of society?    Francis doesn't feel the same when it comes to the myth of man-made global warming, does he?

Here's something from Vatican Downslider:
“Everyone is aware of how sensitive the Church is to ethical issues but perhaps it is not clear to everyone that the Church does not lay claim to a privileged voice in this field…,” Pope Francis said in a meeting with the Italian Committee for Bioethics today, highlighting the risk of utility and profit being the only reference points for developments in science and biological and medical technologies. He urged this advisory body of the Italian government, headed by Francesco Paolo Casavola, a Catholic, to look further into environmental degradation, “disability and the marginalisation of vulnerable individuals”. He asked them in other words to tackle the challenge of countering today’s “throwaway culture” which “takes on many forms, including treating human embryos as disposable material, as well as sick and elderly people approaching the end”. The Pope also asked them to harmonise standards and norms in the biological and medical fields.
Just monstrous:

Bioethics, established by the President of the Council for Ministers in Italy 25 years ago,” Francis said. “Everyone is aware of how sensitive the Church is to ethical issues but perhaps it is not clear to everyone that the Church does not lay claim to a privileged voice in this field; in fact it is a source of great satisfaction for the Church when civic responsibility at different levels is able to reflect, discern and act according to a free and open way of thinking and inspired by integral human and social values. This mature civic responsibility is a sign that the seed of the Gospel – which has been revealed and entrusted to the Church – has produced fruits, successfully fostering the search for truth and good in complex human and ethical questions”

Current State of Abortion in the US

Apparently, our enemies at The New York Times are aghast that Texas's recent anti-abortion law has actually been upheld in federal court. With this, we should also delight in the progress we are making in Wisconsin where a bill is underway to outlaw abortion in those instances where the fetus will experience pain (i.e., after twenty weeks of gestation). This legislative progress naturally mirrors trends in the broader culture where only 41% of Americans now consider themselves "pro-choice." In short, we are winning and our liberal opponents have begun to gnash their teeth. Continue to pray and fast for the Pro-Life movement worldwide.

In the spirit of "tacky liberal incoherence," we should note that the Texas bill primarily aims to regulate abortion clinics to ensure that they are safe. Given what happened in Philadelphia, this should be a top-priority for all legislators nationwide. And insofar as lefties are fond of insisting that abortion ought to be "safe, legal, and rare," it is odd that they too would not support legislation requiring abortion clinics to be safe. Or perhaps by "safe, legal, and rare," they really mean "often-unsafe, tax-payer-funded, and common."

Jacobins to Punish French Bishop for Daring to Describe Abortion in Accurate Terms

Edit: Hollande's France really is fast becoming a joke unto itself.
His Excellency, Bishop Luc Ravel,a Catholic bishops in the French Military Ordinariate is to be "punished" by the French Ministry of Defense, for his writings. He has also been told to cease using any emblems identifying himself with the army. The bishop apparently in his words and actions, contradicts "republican values". No doubt, as a good Catholic he does. But then, so did the thousands who were slaughtered by the Revolution...

The bishop wrote:

"...Christians feel shackled between two ideologies. On the one hand an ideology that is a caricature of God, which has contempt for man. On the other hand, an ideology that manipulates man, despising God. On the one hand, we have those who are declared and known: the terrorists of the bomb, the Prophet's avengers. On the other hand, we have terrorists of thought, the proponents of secularism, the admirers of the Republic. In what camp is a Christian to find himself"?

"We do not want to be held hostage by Islamists, but we also do not want to be slaves of correct thought. Islamic ideology has led to 17 victims in France, but the ideology of thinking correctly [political correctness] creates annually two hundred thousand victims in the womb of the mother.Abortion has become a fundamental right and a weapon of mass destruction "

Roman Reproach to the Philippine Bishops for Their Opposition to "Reproductive Health"

Pierre de Charentenay SJ
(Rome / Manila) Just before the pastoral visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines there appeared in Belgium a book that deals with the Catholics of this island nation. The author is the Jesuit Pierre de Charentenay, who is on the permanent staff of the Jesuit journal La Civilta Cattolica in Rome. In the book "Les Philippines, archipelago asiatique et catholique" (The Philippines, Asian and Catholic Archipelago), published by the Jesuit Publisher Lessius éditions in Namur,  de Charentenay criticized the Philippine bishops because of their stubborn resistance to new state laws that aim to legalize contraception, abortion, divorce and "gay marriage." Pope Francis hasn't offered a word to  defend them.
The South and Southeast Asia visit of the Pope from 12 to 19th January, in terms of global media interest, was reduced to the statement that "good Catholics" should not multiply like "rabbits".  One of those tossed in statements that increasingly characterize this pontificate. At this rate, decades later it will be recalled when the pontificate of the Argentine Pope is long past.
The statement was indeed of a general nature, but is easy to apply to  the papal destination of the Philippines. The archipelago forms the largest Catholic nation in Asia. And Filipinos are still happy about offspring.

Hardly Related to Country and Folk Elements in Pope's Speeches

Subjecting all speeches of the Pope, both prepared and spontaneous, an analysis, it is found that it hardly find specific references to the country and people. Here, the Philippines next to the young and small East Timor, the only predominantly Catholic country in Asia huge.
The Catholic church in the country became known worldwide for its leadership role in the peaceful popular uprising that the end of the reign of Ferdinand Marcos brought about in 1986. His widow took almost 30 years later, some with millions of other Filipinos at the Papal Mass in Manila. Otherwise, the Catholic island nation remained little attention.Today Filipinos form an army of millions of Catholic immigrant workers in the Islamic monarchies on the Arabian Peninsula.

De Charentenay's Book About the Catholic Philippines

The eminent French Jesuit, Pierre de Charentenay set himself the task to close the gaps in knowledge about the Catholic Philippines. De Charentenay is the current director of the Jesuit College Centre Sèvres de Paris, and from 2004-2012 Editor of the French Jesuit journal Etudes. Since 2013, he has worked as a regular contributor to the Civiltà Cattolica has climbed the "Olympus" of Jesuit magazines. As is well known, each article of the Roman Jesuit journal appears after prior control with explicit permission to print from the Vatican. Chief Editor Father Antonio Spadaro is currently one of the reigning Pope's  closest confidants.
The importance of the book by Father de Charentenay draws attention to  a barely noticed event. Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi, also a Jesuit, recommended reading the book in preparation for the papal visit to accredited journalists. "A fortiori, it may be assumed with good reason that Pope Francis will have read the book," said Vatican expert Sandro Magister.
Father de Charentenay has visited the Philippines several times since 1982, and in 2013 lived there for almost a year on the islands. The book reads in one breath. The language is fluid, the details are well-founded, the historical survey is  accurate. The Frenchman appears as an attentive observer, but also holds some surprises ready for the reader.
It's astonishing, for example, that generous public forgiveness and allowances are granted in the Philippines by the state and by the community for serious crimes. The largest prison in the country Father de Charentenay describes as a giant village, within which the prisoners can move and organize freely.
Although these typical Filipino forms could  appeal to the mildness Pope Francis, who made the forgiveness of "mercy" as the core interest of his pontificate, he did not respond.

Praise for Government and their Divorce, Aberro-, Abortion and Contraception Agenda

Father de Charentenay also devotes a detailed chapter to the lengthy and harsh conflict between the Philippine bishops and the Government on the law about "reproductive health".
The author proves that he is by no means "neutral" on this point. He  frankly sides with the "Catholic" President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III. and whose government,  which has proposed and passed laws rejected by the Catholic bishops. Against the wishes of the Catholic Church,  the "Catholic" government continues what  the international so-called "Overpopulation" agenda of the Club of Rome has to offer.
Similar positions are taken by de Charentenay in his book and in the Philippines to other controversial issues such as divorce, abortion and "gay marriage". The Jesuit goes so far as to criticize the Philippine bishops for their resistance as backward and outdated. Not only against the pressure of "modernity", but also the expectations of Pope Francis. De Charentenay writes:
"Pope Francis' statement, 'We can not just insist on the issues involved with abortion, gay marriage and the use of contraceptive methods. You can not. These are things that people should not talk about out of context and not constantly' -  while the bishops have been very outspoken and public about their opinion. The Conference of the Philippine bishops has still adhered to its opposition on the grounds of principle. "

Pontifical Silence and a Clear Message

Pope Francis did not address the battle of the Philippine bishops during his stay. Above all, he neither defended it against criticism nor did he encouraged them in their struggle. Since the Civiltà Cattolica is valid under the direction of Father Spadaro as the essential voice of the Pope, de Charentenay belongs to the editorial staff and since Vatican spokesman Lombardi recommended the book as a source of information, the Philippine bishops should have understood at the latest after the Pope's visit, that their position is not desired by current Rome. In a figurative sense, the statement of another Pope's confidant, the Honduran, Cardinal Maradiaga to Cardinal Müller seems to apply the Philippine bishops: "You should be a little flexible."

European Museum Association "L'Internationale" Holds Anti-Clerical Exhibition -- Currently in Madrid

(Madrid) A network of European museums of contemporary art is a misanthropic, blasphemous and anti-clerical exhibition. The exhibition can currently be seen under the name  "Un saber real instruments útil"  the Queen Sofia Museum in Madrid. The exhibition promotes abortion, insults Christianity and is hostile to the Catholic Church. "It would be reprehensible if a religious denomination would get money from the government to insult feminists", said Infovaticana. Equally reprehensible is the inverse conclusion that feminists get money from the Spanish government and the European Union (EU) to insult the Catholic Church.
The "valuable" pieces, currently shown in the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia  include matchboxes illustrated with a call for violence: "The only church that illuminates is  burning. Support help! "
The Queen Sofia Museum, named after the former Spanish Queen Sofia, the wife of  King Juan Carlos I, who abdicated on June 19th, is holding an exhibition, which is funded by taxpayers' money, blasphemes the God, insults the Catholic Church, degrades human dignity, calls for anti-Christian violence and the murder of unborn children. Miguel Vidal started a petition on HazteOir, which prompts the museum director , Manuel Borja-Villel to close the exhibition.
The Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1990. The headquarters is located in San Carlos Hospital in Madrid, which had been founded in the 16th century by King Philip II.

EU-Sponsored Church Hostility "in the Name of Art"

Was compiled by the exhibition  Croatian Curator Collective WHW What, How & Whom that holds exhibitions in the German-speaking world, especially in Austria. The Madrid exhibition was funded by the EU Culture Programme. The alleged "educational" approach of the exhibition recalls not coincidentally of the National Socialist "education programs". Nor that the Collective WHW put together an exhibition for a new European museum network called L'International (The International).
The  International Museums-  with its naming inspired by communistic nostalgia include the following six museums of modern art at: Moderna Galerija (MG + MSUM, Ljubljana, Slovenia); Museo nacional centro de arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS, Madrid, Spain); Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA, Catalonia, Spain); Museum of Modern Art, Antwerp (M HKA, Antwerp, Belgium); SALT (Istanbul and Ankara, Turkey) and Van Abbemuseum (VAM, Eindhoven, The Netherlands).
The exhibition is expected to be seen in all these museums soon. The Exhibition in Madrid is imbued with hostility toward Christians. An exhibition piece which criticized Islam,  would not only have been unsuitable for left and left-liberal Western states, but also for the Islamic Turkey.

Sacrilegious "Our Father" of Argentine Feminists

The exhibits feature a total of 30 artists and artist collectives. Among these there is also the Argentine feminist collective Mujeres publicas (Public Women). The "art" of Public Women is meant to attack the Catholic Church and to offend Christians and Christianity.
The Spanish left would not put up with having to pay taxes and can then offend people in an exhibition with their own money. The exhibition Un saber real instruments útil (Really useful knowledge) promotes the feminist "Our Father" the Mujeres publicas, which states:
"Give us the right to decide about our bodies. And grant us the grace to neither be virgins nor mothers. Free us from the authority of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, so we are the ones who decide for us. Pray that justice does not follow the order of the Church and be free from  misogynist oppression. We come to the right to deny that the fruit of our body is blessed. Lead us not into temptation, not to fight for our rights. And grant us the miracle of legalization of abortion in Argentina. Amen ".
From "Mujeres publicas comes the feminist battle cry:
"The Pope is Argentinian and abortion is prohibited. If the Pope were a woman, abortion would be law. "
The petition against the blasphemous and anti-clerical exhibition with a request that the exhibition is addressed to the museum director and at the same time to the Spanish Government.

Mobile Abortion Clinic in Argentina -- Archbishop of La Plata: "Abortion is Murder"

(Buenos Aires). The province of Buenos Aires wants to promote the killing of unborn children by "mobile abortion clinics". The Argentine province with its capital La Plata is nearly the size of the Federal Republic of Germany.  More than 15 million people live there, nearly a third of all Argentines. The eponymous capital of Argentina is not part of the province. The announcement of the provincial government slogan speaks for itself: "Drifting is easier in the province of Buenos Aires".
The goal that the provincial government is working with the capital, Buenos Aires is   "100 percent safe and guaranteed abortion". To this end, the formation of a mobile abortion unit was announced that should move throughout the province area to ensure the killing of unborn children in all hospitals where  the doctors and hospital staff refuse the murder of innocent children for reasons of conscience.

Mobile Teams Overturn  Conscientious Objection to Abortion

A mobile task force with the mission of murder is to  "liberate" Argentina's women  and more importantly, put the child's father in the background. The killing of unborn children is allowed in Argentina until the 12th week of pregnancy. The Minister of Health of the Province of Buenos Aires, Alessandro Collie, explained the decision: "Although we already have a protocol that governs access to legal abortion according to recent decisions of the Supreme Court, there were contentious issues, delays and doubts among experts about when and how these practices are carried out."  In plain language this means: If in a hospital all doctors refuse to kill an innocent child on grounds of conscience, a "mobile clinic"  will be  used in future. A task force that will consist only of staff who have no qualms about killing the children cruelly.
Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Daniel Scioli, is from the Peronist Partido Justicialista (PJ), the party of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. Scioli has exercised the office since 2010, representing the late former President Nestor Kirchner, the husband of his successor as Acting President.

Bishops of La Plata: "Abortion is Premeditated Murder"

The Archbishop of La Plata, Msgr. Hector Ruben Aguero and his two auxiliary bishops, Msgr. Nicola Baisi and Msgr. Alberto Bochatey  dealt harsh criticism to the initiative of the provincial government. "Abortion is deliberate and direct killing," said the bishops in a joint public statement. "The right to conscientious objection should not be presented as an obstacle,  just as the killing of a human life should not be presented as a medical auxiliary power. The intentional abortion of a human being at the beginning of its existence from conception to birth is, regardless of  what conditions they are ever performed, with no ifs and buts is murder," said the bishops of La Plata.
Archbishop Aguero is known for his commitment to the protection of life, which is highly contentious in the South American country because of liberal government policies. The Archbishop of La Plata raised his voice even when his brother, the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, has been rather silent. Msgr. Aguero was in 2011, even under consideration as the successor of Cardinal William Levada as Prefect of the Congregation  (see separate report The Future of the CDF - News in Persons Carousel? ). The outstanding head of the conservative minority in the Argentine episcopacy was appointed by Benedict XVI. 2012 personally as a member of the Synod of Bishops on The New Evangelization for the Transmission of the Christian Faith, after he had not been elected by the Bishops' Conference (see separate report , The Synod of Bishops, Papal Appointments and Some of the Background ).
While Archbishop Bergoglio led the "doves" in the Argentine episcopacy in the fight against "gay marriage," Archbishop Aguero was named as the leader of the "hawks". The Archbishop of La Plata is the only one of the three high-ranking church officials,  who are looked upon as "intimate enemies" of the Archbishop Bergoglio  who is still in his office (see separate report "His and Sunk" - Pope Francis and his former critics in Argentina ). {In English]
The doctors who participate in the "new macabre mobile abortion facility, betray the Hippocratic Oath" and constitute a further step in our society into  a "culture of death" to the abyss, says Corrispondenza Romana .

Bishop Galantino: The Prelates, For Whom Unborn Children Are Just a Millstone Around the Neck

Bishop Galantino: Handpicked "Man of the Pope"
in Italy's Church Has bergolian difficulties
with the Unborn
(Rome) The Secretary General of the Episcopal Conference of Italy distanced himself from the defense of life. Therefore, he was heavily criticized, and is now attempting a self-pitying correction, which was in reality a criticism of his critics. It's another signal as to how annoying some prelates find  the struggle for life, when John Paul II led the struggle to the last and Benedict XVI. declared it a non-negotiable principle.  But then came Pope Francis.
Bishop Nunzio Galatino Cassano all'Jonio made a brilliant career move under Pope Francis, however, he became known simultaneously in a controversial, perhaps scandalous manner. Until his discovery by Pope Francis, the Bishop was completely unknown to the world outside of Calabria. As bishop, he stands at the head of an old dwarf diocese, as they actually exist only  for historical reasons only in Italy. The new pope made unilaterally the Secretary General of the Italian Episcopal Conference at the end of 2013. Although Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco is still chairman, the real "man of the Pope" has been Msgr Galantino ever since.
On May 12, the Bishop gave an interview in which he distanced himself from the strange way he addressed pro-lifers  who perform prayer vigils in front of the modern death camps and there pray the rosary for the protection of life and for an end to abortion (see separate report Bergoglio Effect: Secretary of the Episcopal Conference Distancing Himself From Pro-Lifers  ). It's not a random statement, but a deliberate signal to the dominant forces for the killing of unborn children as a "right", to which you must not be challenged.

Pontifical Galatino

The interview was made in Catholic circles, but especially crated among life advocates an international sensation. It fit into a series with a no less irritating interview, that Pope Francis gave in September 2013 for the Jesuit journal La Civilta Cattolica. The head of the church said that  Catholics  were "obsessed" with the right to life and that one can "not always" speak out about issues such as abortion  (see separate report And he wept over his Pope - Pope Francis is silent on abortion and homosexuality, and finds it a good thing ). The irritations were more violent, as the Catholic Church is the last major, global institution that still opposes the abortion dictate, and the popes have raised their voices courageously against the murder spree charged from the Encyclical Humanae Vitae to Pope Benedict XVI. Ten months had to pass and  ever stronger murmurings rose within the Church, till Pope Francis for the first time brought the word "abortion" in his mouth in January 2014 (see separate report "The Horror of Abortion" - Francis Pope calls abortion for the first time by name ).

All Just a Misunderstanding on Which the Media are to Blame?

Now  Bishop Galatino laments in a recent interview for the monthly magazine  Sempre, the fierce criticism that hit him after his first interview. The Secretary General of the Italian Episcopal Conference saw no need for a correction of his first interviews. The criticism he described as "aggression, which in reality hurt me a little." Monsignor Galatino is of the opinion that it had all been a misunderstanding which goes back to an instrumentalization by the media. "The said interview was developed in a specific context: the influence of social communications. On this occasion I warned for vigilance, especially with regard to television, where images are used only to support one's own message. I gave the example to those who then only blank faces of those show who pray the Rosary against abortion in front of clinics. It was a method of the media, who don't  just want to invalidate the rosary prayed in front of the clinics  but also the large and unusual movement that stands behind it."  According to Bishop Galatino he wanted to warn you to be vigilant against such media manipulation.

From the "Malice" of the Rosary

The reason for the misunderstanding  was that his statement was taken out of context. "Sometimes the representative of certain of our movements don't read the interview completely, but only the titles and headlines of the media, who of course, have every interest to write something sensational and create problems. So it came to 10,000 tweets and 15,000 Facebook posts "Against Bishop Galantino, who showed himself to be  " impressed"  by this wave of criticism from within the ranks to dismiss the "malice of certain people who claim to pray the Rosary."  It is  "worrying to know that someone who prays the rosary, then is able to express himself in such tones and with such verbal aggression." Pro-Lifers shake their heads. Bishop Galantino has thus proven just one more time to have little idea of the reality of war, which is against under way against the unborn children worldwide, and the protection of life, about which he speaks, however.
Pope Francis seems  to be satisfied with the thesis of this "misunderstanding" at any rate. This past June 21st he paid Bishop Galantino and his mini-diocese in Calabria a visit. To see an homage, which was unanimously interpreted by observers as a signal to the Italian Bishops for Bishop Galatino as the new powerful man in Italy's Church (see separate report A question of priorities - Corpus Christi procession without Pope Francis ).

What Exactly Had  The Secretary-General Said on May 12?

Quotidiano Nazionale: In recent years, the Bishops' Conference established itself  (life, family, education) for the non-negotiable values. The Pope does not have this concept at heart. Do you not also?
Bishop Galantino: When we think of the sanctity of life. In the past, we have focused exclusively on a no to abortion and euthanasia. This goes not, in between there comes to the existence, develops. I do not identify myself with the motionless faces of those who pray the rosary in front of  clinics, where abortions are carried out, but with those youth who reject this method and fight for better quality of life for the people of their rights to health and work.
In the new interview, Bishop Galatino spoke of the "influence of the media" and "instrumentalization by the media." In the original there is nothing of the sort, but a whole precise question to which the bishop replied which was just as clearly irritating.
Bishop Galantino has tried an old game, where the blame is always pushed to the journalists. An attempt that often succeeds in this particular case, however, as the bishop has neither denied up until today his former statement  nor demanded a rectification of the daily newspaper. A substantive correction of his position would offer more suitable for the  "man of the Pope" in the Italian Episcopal Conference. Above all, it would  provide the only correct answer to doubts and criticism. Therefore, Pro-Lifers believe that Bishop Galantino has exactly said  is in the interview: A distancing from  the right to life scene that is seen by some prelates as just a more than annoying millstone that impedes an arrangement with the Zeitgeist.
Sometimes the attempts to plug a hole are worse than the hole itself
