Biennale of Venice: Mosque Installed in Church -- "Invitation to Muslims to Conquer"

(Venice) Provocations are the "business" In the context of the Venice Biennale, a bi-annual international art exhibition. For the first time a sacrilege takes place  as part of the Biennale. "A mosque has not yet been added to the more than a thousand-year history of Venice,"  wrote the Venetian daily Il Gazzetino  just  a few days ago. That was yesterday. Today Venice has its first mosque and indeed this coming November 22, in the framework of the Biennale.

Profanation of a Church as "Art" - Koran Verses, Mihrab and Prayer Rugs

The real challenge, however, is that the mosque was set up in a Catholic church, namely in Santa Maria della Misericordia in Cannaregio district. Although the church is closed to worship, it is still a consecrated place of worship. Now, however, it has been desecrated. That the he Church of "Mercy" falls into these calculations may be a coincidence, but it meets with  the so-called "new Mercy", the not uncontroversial keyword of the current pontificate.
In the Church there is everything: the Islamic prayer niche, Arabic panels with Koranic verses, the floor is covered entirely with carpets, including small green prayer rugs facing Mecca. The mihrab, the prayer niche in mosques, was built so that it covers the large crucifix of the church.  The new adaptation of the church is to be disturbed by nothing Christian. On the Baroque façade only the inscription  "Allah u Akbar" is missing.  The original intention was to install it  so it is  visible far and wide. Ultimately fees were waived because the city administration, as they say, had exerted pressure to omit the words.

Mosque installation as a Contribution by the Icelandic Consulate

And who came up with the "brilliant" idea? The mosque in the church was organized by the Icelandic Consulate at the Biennale. Of course, everything strictly covered under "artistic" creativity and under the panacea "artistic freedom".
With the transformation of the church into a mosque, moreover   the Swiss artist, Christoph Büchel, was commissioned by the Lutheran Republic of Iceland. He called his "art concept" The Mosque . According to the official statement the "installation" is to be a "message against Islamophobia."   The only question is why the Catholic Church prefers  victims of such politically correct "messages". The Icelandic Minister of Education, Science and Culture, Illugi Gunnarsson, explained that the idea to bury a mosque in a church is in order "to stimulate dialogue" - as the Minister - which is "open" in Iceland.
Gunnarsson is representative of the Liberal-Conservative Independence Party, which together with the CDU, CSU (Germany) and the ÖVP (Austria) in the International Democratic Union (IDU), in the European Parliament but seated with the British Conservatives and the German AFD in the Group of European Conservatives and Reformers.

Muslim Representatives Enthusiastic about Büchel Installation

Born in Basel,  artist Christoph Büchel has become known mainly through provocations. He is known for "institutional critique", which seems highly unlikely if he accepts government contracts, such as those of the Republic of Iceland. In 2010 Büchel installed "an area for sex culture" in the Vienna Secession. He designed the room in a swingers club. During the day it was visited by museum visitors, and at night   a Viennese Swinger Club moved its horizontal activities in the museum.
Mohamed Amin al-Ahdabd, the president of the Islamic community of venice showed himself to be enthusiastic about the Büchel Initiative in Venice. Amin al-Ahdadb realized, probably before anyone else, the importance of the event. "This project surpasses,  in effect, a hundred conferences on dialogue between cultures," said the Islamic representative.
A mosque is not ordained like the Catholic Church and therefore not a religious building. It is a meeting place that can be intricately designed more or less. In theory, however, any room is suitable  as a mosque. Therefore, the Installation awakened not only the appearance of a mosque, but is for Muslims a mosque, as the zealous prayer activities show.

Patriarchate Protested Against Illegal Use and Profanation of the Church

Although a Catholic church is being utilized for the "dialogue artwork", the responsible Patriarch of Venice, Msgr. Francesco Moraglia was never asked for permission. There is great vexation in the patriarchate. There is talk of "abuse", which is made worse because the Church was not only made available without permission, but was profaned.
Art as a sacrilege? The church has been closed for worship since 1969. However, this does not matter, because the church was never profaned. "The church is closed to worship and is no longer part of the church. It has fallen since 1973 to private ownership,"  says the Patriarchate in an official statement. Nevertheless, it said in the statement, "each usage deviating from the Christian Catholic cult needs permission by the ecclesiastical authority, regardless of who is currently in possession of the church. This permission was neither requested nor granted."
The church of Santa Maria della Misericordia has been  in use since  the year 936, but could be even older. The original church was byzantine in design.  In the 13th century it was renewed church gothic. Around 1650, the Baroque facade was built. In the church are works of Bernini's pupil, Clemente Moli. During the Napoleonic domination, the church was, like many others, desecrated and left to decay. The second half of the 19th century was followed by renovation work. In1890 the church was rededicated and reopened for worship.

Biennale sat down randomly over patriarchy away

Patriarchy was also know that "was asked in February about asking other churches in the city for this mosque installation. The patriarch, however, refused. "was not even asked for the church of Santa Maria della Misercordia. Since there was no permission, the Biennale director set aside the very decision of the diocese. An "act of arbitrariness", says the Patriarchate. The attitude of the Church is not being respected.
The city administration emphasizes that the speech was only an "exhibition", but not by a church. The Directorate of the Biennale tried to pour water on the fire. The "project" it says "was approved as an artistic installation on condition that it was implemented in a exhibition that is accessible for all".
The Patriarchate accuses the city administration of rank superficiality. Such a matter would have "required greater attention in the test phase" and would " be considered and approved not only by its artistic aspect". The patriarchy also directed its criticism at the Biennale in charge: "The decision to use a church closed for cult, does not resolve this issue, as it is still effectively a sacred site, but this was ignored."

Catholic Organizations are Calling for "Immediate Evacuation" - "The Installation Isn't an Invtation to Dialog  but War"

Several Catholic associations and the media have meanwhile demanded the immediate evacuation of the mosque installation and the restoration of the church. "The fact that the art is used as a pretext to justify any ideological profligacy is not news. But the transformation of the church of Santa Maria della Misericordia into a mosque as an artistic expression of the struggle against Islamophobia goes to far.  Only an idiot can seriously think that the conversion of a church into a mosque could be understood as an invitation to dialogue. Rather, it is an invitation to war, the conquest and occupation of the churches and at a time when in several countries there rages a brutal war of Muslims against Christians  and ever day churches are conquered, repossessed and transformed into mosques," said the chief editor of the Nuova Bussola Quotidiana .
The Patriarchate has raised protest. Not only because the matter is contrary to common sense, but because it is against the law. The patriarch would have to grant his permission. He has not granted this permission. He was not even asked. That's why this installation is as if it 'does not exist'. This is noted but it's not enough. Such a provocation can not be dismissed so that they protested one day, but everything stays the way it is. The symbolism is too strong. The Patriarchate should demand the immediate removal of the installation. No ifs and buts. Should the Biennale defend this disgrace and false message, peaceful resistance  should be passed over  for active resistance, such as the way the Veilleurs occupy  a square and a church, or by holding a silent prayer vigils. Everything left as it is, would be to send a signal of unconditional surrender to Islam, which plays into the hands of  the most radical branch of Islam. It doesn't change the matter when th entire thing is packed as  "artistic"and "on behalf of the freedom of art" happens,  because these do not interest the Islamists in the least.

The city administration is comprised of people who do not understand their superficiality, or, if they do, couldn't care less.

In the end, they will either convert to Mohammedanism, pay the tax, or have their throats slits; won't they be surprised? (They think that such choices are only posed to others, if at all.) And their once precious carnival city, in line with their superficial understanding of diversity, will be a wet Moslem land instead of a dry one.

If Catholic Churches are to be given over to the worship of other creeds its time Catholics stopped giving money and let the other creeds keep the upper hierarchy in the style to which they have become accustomed. It was Catholic donors that built the Churches ,why should Catholics finance the desecration of their Churches.

The Venetian Patriarch said no to any church being used for this. I am guessing that the closed church was maintained by the city at taxpayer expense, and therefore, someone in the city government had the keys to the place, and superficial justification in mind.

Open and active Catholic churches have removed Catholic imagery of a Friday afternoon so some deluded worshipper can go in hand in hand with satan and spray his territory. The deconsecration of a 'disued' church would make little sense to those who adheres to the falsehood promulgated by VII and especially JPII and Francis who preach that the god of muslims and Catholics worship the same God (for those who remain completely ignorant realise le coran is calls the Holy Trinity excrement - look it up - blasphemy 101 - and denies, subsequently any fatherhood in God).

Rightly so the Venetians should be up in arms at this terrible sin - a church defiled by satan's (per)version of triumphalism.

The church was closed, but not deconsecrated, but the owners are private people, the Venetian Patriarch is not a braveheart, the 'artist' is a renowned atheist anticlerical but is a gauche caviar leftist, politically correct, pro lgbt and so on......that's all fun!

I have known 'pop' stars, with even a minimal symathy to their Cathlolic upbringing, that want to be assured that their venue is 'deconsecrated' before they go ahead with their zeitgeist tikitext.

I thought i had developed some immunity to the shocking consequences of Vat II, but this DESECRATION in Venice really shocked me. Ok, the church was 'privately owned', whatever that means, but the church was still consecrated and therefore under the protection of Church authority.
Listen up pilgrims, is any more evidence required to wake you up to the realization that the Catholic Church is now controlled by those internal and external forces who are willingly on board with the NWO program.

The leader of ISIS Al-Bagdadi told us yesterday according to the BBC:

""Islam was never a religion of peace. Islam is the religion of fighting. No-one should believe that the war that we are waging is the war of the Islamic State. It is the war of all Muslims, but the Islamic State is spearheading it. It is the war of Muslims against infidels."

Now if I had stated that I would have been accused of Islamophobia!

Every bullet they fire at us should be and would be if I were in charge, returned 100 fold and every one dipped in pork fat! This curse upon the earth has been brought about by the installation of a council (Vatican 2) which was always determined to destroy the church from within. Vatican 2 is the problem! There are no graces coming down from heaven as the Mass of all time has been stopped. The devil is taking full advantage. When the true Pontiff has been restored to power and the true Mass has been restored to the altars, then, and only then will the devil be halted. Get out of our Catholic institutions you false apostates and return them to true and everlasting Catholicism - the ONLY way to heaven.

The post-conciliar ecumenistic mess continues its "dialogue of the deaf' and the "openness of the church to the absurd".

I never, even thought this during the reign of John Paul II, because he still presented himself as Pope, stood for traditional Catholic values, and went after the dissenters in the Church who have tried to destroy it.
So did Benedict XVI. He brought back much of traditional Catholic spirit, and the expectation of what a real Pope should look like and dress, and the ceremonial around the Pope. I was proud to be a Catholic again under Benedict XVI.
But not with Francis, his agenda, his views, and what he has supported and said in speeches, the way he dresses, and his lack of respect for his office....and for the Catholic Faith in general.
If I had read this article about Venice during the time of John Paul II or especially Benedict XVI, I would have been outraged by the action of the Muslims using a former Catholic Church.
But now, since Francis and his friends are so actively intent on degrading the Papacy and the entire Church, and have done a good job at it ( USA Catholic seminarians down again after over 10 years of stability and growth....worldwide number of seminarians down in first time in over 30 years), I no longer care.
WE GET WHAT WE DESERVE WITH A POPE LIKE THIS, AND HIS ASSOCIATES,.
ELECT A RADICAL, AND WHAT DO YOU EXPECT BUT A COLLAPSE OF THE CHURCH.
FRANCIS IS THE RESULT OF 50 YEARS OF VATICAN II ROT.
WE DESERVE WHAT WE GET.

But his successor may be the opposite...so there is hope.

It seems grimly appropriate that a former Patriarch of Venice, who was elected Pope in 1958, should be the author of the Hellish nonsense & apostasy that we have to thank for this latest foulness. It is becoming ever more difficult to take seriously the idea that the mob in the Vatican are Catholics.

I really see no point in caring any longer. These people are Hell-bent on wrecking, perverting, falsifying, devastating, & ruining the Church - so let them. I see no reason why Catholics should have to have nervous breakdowns brought on by agonising over the Judas Church's latest impiety.

GOOGLE CLOSES DOWN BLOG EUCHARIST AND MISSION

Google has removed Eucharist and Mission ( Lionel's Blog) with the last controversial blog post saying 'According to the Catholic Church Islam/ Islamism is not a path to salvation'. This post was originally a comment posted on the blogs Vox Cantoris and LMS Chairman. It had links to old posts on Eucharist and Mission with titles like 'Vatican Council II and Islam' and 'The Catholic Church teaches that the Prophet Mohammad is eternally lost'.It was an interpretation of Church documents without Apparition Theology (AT).
Eucharist and Mission had over 2,00,000 page views and over 3000 posts since about 2011.It was closed on May 8,2015.
It was a blog for Catholics on religious subjects and in particular the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus in agreement with Vatican Council II. Catholic doctrine was interpreted without an irrational premise and inference which forms the basis of AT. With this knowledge it sought a doctrinal reconciliation of the SSPX and the sedevacantists with Rome.
The Catholic Church after Vatican Council II , without AT, still affirms ' the rigorist interpretation' of outside the Church there is no salvation. The dogma is in agreement with AG 7, LG 14( without AT). AT is the decider.
Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism for salvation (AG 7,LG 14). 1 All. Muslims do not have Catholic Faith with the baptism of water, at the time of death.Their prophet was oriented to Hell according to Vatican Council II . This is magisterial. It is there in the text of Church documents. It is not a personal theory.
The Church also says that those who know about Jesus and the Church and do not enter are lost to Hell (LG 14).Mohammad knew about Jesus and the Church and did not enter.According to Vatican Council II he is lost. This is the magisterial teaching of the Chuch which many find controversial. So Google could have responded to protests and pulled down the Catholic blog.Google has also blocked my e-mail account number and has asked for a contact number.I have not been using the telephone for years. No cell phone or Skpe.I have been living a quasi eremetical life in Rome.
My blog was for Catholics but over time I noticed a growing non Catholic viewership. My Catholic religious beliefs now have been found offensive by viewers, it seems. I am not being allowed to express Catholic beliefs for which I provided citations from Vatican Council II, Church documents and the Bible.

Jesus asks us to love all people but to also speak the truth.I love all including those who are on the way to Hell.
Hell exists even though God is love.God loves all people.Jesus died to save all. However to receive this salvation all need to accept Jesus in the Catholic Church. ( Dominus Iesus 20, Cantate Dominio, Council of Florence 1441, Vatican Council II AG 7, LG 14).
The majority of people on earth are on the way to Hell since they die without 'faith and baptism'.I say this in charity.
This is denied on Internet-reports which assume there are exceptions to the orthodox passages in Vatican Council II (AG 7,LG 14).So there could have been Christians/Catholics who did not like my blog, since they assume there are exceptions to the dogma.
For them, like Cardinal Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani, who issued the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, there is known salvation without 'faith and baptism'.All did not need to be formal members of the Church for him. This became the Marchetti-Cushing theory expressed in Vatican Council II.
It irrationaly assumes that non Catholics saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are personally known and physically visible in the present times, to become exceptions. They would have to be known to become exceptions. This false premise( dead-saved and visible) and the false inference ( dead-saved and visible exceptions to the dogma today)became the basis for cardinals Marchetti and Cushing's, Apparition Theology, the new theology in the Catholic Church.
Since the deceased ( apparitions) are visible on earth they become exceptions! Hypothetical cases are defacto exceptions! So now LG 16,UR 3, NA 2 etc refer to visible apparitions for many. They refer to people saved without the baptism of water and allegedly personally seen on earth. They are physically visible and real ( for the CDF,ITC, secular and Catholic media), to become exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma. It was based on this false premise and irrational theology that Fr.Leonard Feeney of Boston, was penalised. It was an objective error.Pope Pius XII did not correct it. Since then no pope has issued a correction.

So if a pope, cardinal, Catechism of the Catholic Church (1257 etc) or magisterial document makes this objective error it still is an error. It still is a factual error. It is a fact of life that we cannot see the dead-saved.They are invisible for us.Yet the Vatican and the Society of St,Pius X (SSPX) have also accepted this error in doctrinal confusion.
Others are aware of the error and have corrected it. Bishop Thomas E. Gullickson, Father S.Visintin OSB,Dean of Theology at the University of Anselm, Rome and John Martignoni the American apologist agree with me.
'Zero cases of something are not exceptions', says John Martignoni. The baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are not exceptions to the dogma'.
Being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are not exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus says Fr.Visintin.Many other priests in Rome have supported me on this point.
This puts the SSPX and traditionalists in the driving seat and leaves the liberals with no supporting citations in Vatican Council II.There is only one rational interpretation of Vatican Council II and it is without AT.
I do not use Apparition Theology so I do not reject Vatican Coiuncil II, without the premise and inference. I do reject Vatican Council II, with the false premise and inference which is the basis for AT. I recommend that the SSPX continue to do the same until the CDF issues a doctrinal clarification.
So Eucharist and Mission in this way was different from other blogs.

I enjoyed posting. Thank you to all who found the posts meaningful and continued reading. I reiterate that I love all people as Jesus asks of us.I have goodwill for all, including those who opposed my blog and all things-Catholic.I continue to affirm as always, that outside the Church there is no known salvation.

1.
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door.-Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II

Basing itself upon Sacred Scripture and Tradition, it teaches that the Church, now sojourning on earth as an exile, is necessary for salvation. Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism(124) and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church.-Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II

They are fully incorporated in the society of the Church who, possessing the Spirit of Christ accept her entire system and all the means of salvation given to her, and are united with her as part of her visible bodily structure and through her with Christ, who rules her through the Supreme Pontiff and the bishops. The bonds which bind men to the Church in a visible way are profession of faith, the sacraments, and ecclesiastical government and communion.-Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II
CONCLUDED

There are allegations concerning Pope John XXIII that he was closely associated with masonic circles. It is difficult for us to discern the truth or falsity of such allegations, they could be black propaganda or misleading disinformation, we just don't know. However, the ruling elite of Venice have a well deserved reputation, over many centuries, of being 'philo-islamic'.
Other than prayer and withholding donations we have very little power to affect the disastrous course the post Vat II church is as you say Hell-bent on pursuing.
